Here’s a nice pair of figural decanters for Bols liquer, a matching Dutch boy and girl (man & woman!). They are dressed in traditional garb and hold in their arms flasks and a bottle, respectively, advertising Bols.
The Delft ware pieces were made by Zenith, Gouda, as seen by the crown marks on their feet. Each is fully signed with the factory mark as well as the artist’s initials.
Size: Guy: H = 10.5". Girl: H = 10"
Condition: Girl: Excellent vintage condition - no chips or cracks found. The cork has come off the stopper and is stuck inside the neck of the girl. Guy: There is a small glaze flake at his ankle, on the downside of where the pant billows out, so not as readily visible as it appears in the photo. The boy’s cork is still attached to the stopper and inserts and removes properly.[!style :Delftware!]
