A vintage #1844 candle holder from Bennington Potters of Vermont, stamped DG for David Gil. It is finished in the ‘Blue Agate’ cobalt blue sponged glaze.
The square holder is slab formed, with two cut out stars on opposing sides. Holds votive and tealight candles.
Fully marked on the bottom, as shown.
Size: 3-7/8" on all sides. Quite heavy, weighing nearly 2 pounds.
