A vintage, tall Blenko Glass flame stopper in Sea Green, a color made in the years from 1937-58, and then 1960-64 only.
It was made for one of the MCM architectural decanters designed by Wayne Husted in the early 1960s, among them the 6122, 627, 6212, and 646. It is not ground to fit at the neck and doesn’t fit the iconic 920 decanter. Although the same shape as the stopper of the 628 as well, I think that this one’s neck might be too wide to fit into the slender neck of the 628 design.
Please be sure to check the dimensions of your bottle opening before purchasing, as I do not accept returns. I will be happy to answer any detailed questions about its size and fit regarding a specific decanter.
Size: 13.5" long; 1-1/4" wide across the bottom.
Condition: Excellent. No chips or cracks.
